Privacy notice
Last updated: 23 October 2026
This notice explains what personal data aspirationplatform.com collects, how our Open Aspirations Commons handles public contact details, and what you can do about it. The site has no analytics, no cookies and no third-party fonts. The only thing it stores is your mixer: the aspirations you add are saved in your own browser (local storage, key ap-mixer-v1) so they are still there next visit. That list never leaves your device unless you put it into a session request yourself. Use “Clear” in the mixer, or clear your browser’s site data, to remove it.
Who is responsible
The controller is Humanity Solutions, KvK 71110178, BTW NL002466080B20, Hamerstraat 67D, 2512 CX The Hague, the Netherlands. For any privacy question, update or removal request, email connectwithus@humanitysolutions.net.
The Open Aspirations Commons (Public Directory)
The Open Aspirations Commons publishes institutional ambitions alongside official contact channels so collaborators can connect directly. Entries come from two sources:
- Publicly announced institutional commitments (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) legitimate interest): We list institutional aspirations that organisations have announced on their own public web pages, such as government, EU and UN policy pages, NGO strategies and company sustainability pages. For these entries we list only the organisation name, its publicly stated ambition, a link to that public source, and a link to the organisation’s general contact page—never private personal contact details.
- Direct opt-in submissions (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) consent): When you submit an aspiration through our “Publish an aspiration” form and tick the publication consent box, we review your submission and publish the organisation name, aspiration, source link, and the public contact channel you designated.
Immediate correction or removal: Any organisation or person listed in the Open Aspirations Commons can request an update or complete removal at any time by emailing connectwithus@humanitysolutions.net. We process removal and correction requests within 48 hours.
Booking and submission forms
When you send a booking or submission form on this site, Humanity Solutions (KvK 71110178, Hamerstraat 67D, 2512 CX The Hague) is the sole controller of your data. We use your name, email, message and form answers to handle and reply to your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) or, for public aspiration submissions, to check and publish your listing (Art. 6(1)(a)). Marketing updates are sent by email only if you tick the separate optional box (Art. 6(1)(a)); unsubscribe via the link in every mail or by emailing connectwithus@humanitysolutions.net.
Submissions are processed in the Google Workspace account used by Humanity Solutions (trade name Foresight Transitions). Google is our processor; transfers to the US are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
We delete non-published booking inquiries 12 months after our last contact with you (automatic monthly clean-up), except where Dutch tax law requires keeping invoice records for 7 years.
Who else processes data for the site
- Hostinger: hosts this website. Like most web servers, it keeps technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, time and page requested) to run and secure the site.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, to correct or delete it, to withdraw consent, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Email connectwithus@humanitysolutions.net. We reply within one month (and within 48 hours for public directory removals). You also have the right to complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
